I saw this "Reykjavik murder mystery" in Waterstone's yesterday (the UK's biggest bookshop) in a prime location. Maybe this is good news for the krona ...
The cover certainly indicates that this book is marketed for women but the content doesn't reflect that (not that, erm, this would be bad). I haven't had such a hard time putting a book down in a long while. Highly recommended.
Since I'm staying in Reykholt, where Snorri Sturluson is meant to have written this, I decided to read this old classic. The protagonist is less likable then I remember him.
